Our StaffWe're the people that are here to make sure that NAMI Texas is the best state affiliate it can be. We strive daily in our mission and come closer to making our vision a reality. Our office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday. We're closed on most state holidays. Robin PeysonExecutive Director"I am responsible to the board of directors for oversight of the operations of NAMI Texas. I provide coordination of statewide education, affiliate assistance and support, membership development, fund raising. I coordinate board communications and activities and interact within the legislative process." rpeyson@namitexas.orgDeborah RoseVisions for Tomorrow Program Director"To further VFT I will:Set and maintain the curriculum intergrity for VFT, while offering a progam that is simple to learn and present. Supervise national field functions in education, advocacy and support group efforts. Develop new curriculum while updating existing curriculum. Offer additional opportunities utilizing VFT as a springboard for fundraising, while always offering VFT free of charge to families." dcr@isgu.com Lisa MooreFamily Education Coordinator"As Family Education Coordinator, I oversee the Family to Family program state wide. My goal is for all affiliates to offer Family to Family classes and to expand and support existing affiliate programs. Family to Family is a key NAMI program and also serves as a catalyst for many of our members continued involvement in NAMI. I am a trained Family to Family teacher and have taught two classes. I believe this program is truly life changing. My other responsibilities include: media outreach, campus education, and grant writing.
